Watcher using over 10x more RAM than any other extension

I have many tabs "open" (mostly unloaded) and extensions running.

My extensions, more than any tab or the firefox main process itself, are using the most RAM:

Yet out of that 5GB of RAM used by 25 running extensions, ActivityWatch is using 4GB. 80%.

Any ideas why that might be?

I'm pretty sure there's an issue when it can't connect to the AW server it will just keep retrying to re-send events, which just keeps adding up.
