LRU cache wanted

i see that the LRU cache was removed, and that a comment in the original code questioned how it was implemented. i'm happy to put some skin in the game here. what are the current thoughts as how this could best be re-implemented?

There is an implementation of LRUCache at the DiskArrays level see JuliaIO/DiskArrays.jl#147 . I think calling cache on a zarr file should already give you what you want. That begs the question whether this error message needs to be removed and/or link to DiskArrays.cache
