Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Kong version ($ kong version)

3.4.3.18

Current Behavior

In the discussion #11212 this bug is reported.

When you have custom plugins deployed with your kong instalation, the manager doesn't shows/list that custom plugins to install them on routes/services/etc...

This was working in the docker image kong:3.4.2, but on the kong/kong-gateway:3.4.3.18 isn't.

Expected Behavior

I expect that my custom plugins to be listed on the "available plugins" in the "add plugin" window.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Deploy a custom plugin
  2. Run the kong/kong-gateway:3.4.3.18
  3. Access the manager GUI
  4. Create a new Service
  5. Try to add the custom plugin to that Service
