visibility status bar of Andriod device

The Open Mapper app resizes to full-screen mode, and the mobile device's status bar is not visible (for example, the battery charge level).
I kindly ask you to consider making the Android status bar visible

Thank you for your suggestion.
The current behavior is to give maximum screen size for map and toolbars. I assume this the prefered mode for most operations across different screen sizes and orientation during mapping activities. AFAICT the status bar is easily visible with a swipe from the edge of the screen.

I operate Mapper for 6–8 hours during field sessions. This requires constant monitoring of battery life and network connectivity (including toggling airplane mode).
I also work with various types of mapping altimeters:

• those using barometric altitude measurement;
• those using GNSS RTK.

These devices have their own displays to show the mapper's altitude. If the Mapper app doesn't run in full-screen mode, I'll be able to display my sensor readings directly in the Android status bar.
