Add better error handling for iframes

Attempt to using window error handlers (or other) to better handle cases where iframes used by the polyfill don't properly load or can't be communicated with (for whatever reason, e.g. SSL errors). These errors should be better surfaced instead of what they are doing now: silent failure.
