Simplify process to create database

I'm studying the project, and thinking of ways to simplify the process of creating new Databases, at least initially. I was wondering if it would be possible to reach a point where I had the least points to edit, today from what I saw there is an object on the back, and settings in addition to links on the front.

This discussion is for get a best way to this feature, and if is really required?
