Application header cannot be disabled (wayland)

Hi, I am running sway on archlinux and since DT 5.4.0 there is a bar at the top with the icon to close the window. I don't need that because to close the window I'd use Ctrl+Q, I'd rather the bar was hidden, because it takes a part of my screen that I'd otherwise use to have a large preview (Tab / W).

None of my other applications show this bar. because I have window decorations set to server-side rendering. Darktable seems to be unaware of that, so it shows the top bar even when it should not be visible.

Of course, there is the workaround to go fullscreen, but then I cannot see dialog windows (partially an issue of sway), so I have to stay in windowed mode and keep switching between if I want a true fullscreen preview.

This issue was raised in #19806, and there is a PR to solve it. We are waiting for the consent of the reviewers.

After reading the other issue and the PR it seems that the fix is for maximized windows only. It is gone when maximized already.

I am looking for darktable to respect the wayland server decission on whether the titlebar should be visible ever at all. Does that fix it as well?

This PR won't help, I can refine and make an option in the settings for which window sizes to hide the titlebar in wayland.
