What is the name for the following workflow:

• Develop internally, possibly using inner source practices
• Publish as (actual) open source at the time of publication

This should be included in the GIS710 slides.

Publishing source code and data at the time of publishing journal publication? Delayed publishing of source code?

In general:

• embargoed open source code till (manuscript) publication (date)
• (delayed) public release of source code at the time of manuscript publication
• delayed-release source code embargo
• internally developed, publiclaly released

In relation to peer review:

• private for peer review [hard to make it work for double blind]
• private till peer review [release as open source at the time of submission to the journal]

This could be discussed as a possible publication workflow on a separate slide perhaps together with open from the beginning, later open, and never open cases (as a table or diagram).
