How to create a Span with a end-time and duration

Hello team,
I want to create a Span with the API but I have only from the legacy application the end-time of a service and how long it was running. Is this possible with the OTEL Java API?

I found the solution with using `...

Span s = tracer.spanBuilder("doWork+3456").setStartTimestamp( startTimestamp , TimeUnit.MILLISECONDS).startSpan()
s.end( startTimestamp + duration, TimeUnit.MILLISECONDS);

Note, for future questions that this repository is for the OpenTelemetry collector, not any SDK.
