Bun Redis client drops connection after a few days (ERR_REDIS_CONNECTION_CLOSED)

After switching from ioredis to Bun’s Redis client, everything works fine initially, but after about 5 days requests start failing. The error we see is:

"name": "RedisError", "code": "ERR_REDIS_CONNECTION_CLOSED"

I tested the Redis instance itself and it’s fine. Restarting our backend fixes it, but I’m hoping we won’t need to keep doing that.

Here’s how we’re consuming Redis:

Could it be that Redis restarted/dropped the connection at some point, and the client doesn’t handle reconnection properly?
