Email sending fails...

Dear all,

I'm currently setting up a new Bookstack instance on a lab server and I'm struggling with the email sending feature. When I try "Send a test email", all I get is an error message saying "Error while sending test email: Expected response code "250/251/252" but got code "550", with message "550 5.7.1 Relaying denied", which I can't understand.

Any clue on this?

That message would generally be coming from your email platform, and that there's some reason it doesn't like you relaying email sending through it. This might be some kind of access control on the mail server, or it doesn't recognise/auhtorize the sender address you're attempting to use relative to the credentials being used for SMTP.
