Error part 4, in the milestone

Hello, I'm encountering this error, but a coworker from another institution managed to run the data on her computer. Does anyone have any insights into why this might be happening? Below is the error:

Read the error message, it states what the problem is:

• You are providing an argument twice => Update your R script accordingly and try again. Delete the config.csv file in the output folder if the message persists.
• There may be a problem with your gt3x file(s) => Try identifying which file(s) produce(s) the error and inspect the part 2 output for that file. If you see nothing strange about the output then you may want to keep the file. If it looks unexpected then make sure the file is skipped from all analyses. If this happens often, contact ActiGraph as this is not related to GGIR but a problem with your data.

Hello, first I’d like to apologize for the delay in replying. We were working with another group, and the process moved more slowly due to other work obligations.

We eventually identified the error, which was located in Part 2 – parameters:

hrs.del.start = 0,
hrs.del.end = 0,
maxdur = 0,
includedaycrit = 16,

Initially, we were setting start and end cut-off hours because, in our data collection process, interviewers received the device pre-programmed to start and then handed it to participants within a window that went from Saturday to Wednesday. Based on this, we assumed that each participant would need a different cut-off time.

However, we were mistaken, since we were using the download date for this adjustment. In many cases, the participant had already removed the device days earlier. When we applied this calculation, if the cut-off values were too high, the problem occurred because the sum of the start and end cut-off hours exceeded the total days actually recorded by the device. As a result, the algorithm could not process the cut and generated no output.

Our solution was to set both the start and end cut-off hours to 0, as shown in the configuration above. This solved the issue.
We then compared the R output with the data generated in ActiLife, which confirmed that this is the correct approach.

We still haven’t managed to solve the problem, and since we’re waiting on feedback from collaborators who work in other institutions, we haven’t finalized it yet.
