Tbh, I don't really consider #225 a bug or a crash, it's expected behavior (even if the backtrace is left there). It was meant to not execute further if file? wasn't found.

But also, I can't really remember why we just don't handle it anyway, so I just made file? never throw and stop further execution wherever it's used
