Mapping the unseen: bridging data and geography through GIS, Remote Sensing, and Spatial Analysis to uncover patterns and navigate uncertainty in spatial data.

π I am a PhD student in the Graduate School of Geography at Clark University
-
π¨βπ» I am a research assistant on the project "Irrigation as climate-change adaptation in the Cerrado biome of Brazil evaluated with new quantitative methods, socio-economic analysis, and scenario models" funded by NASA π
-
π» I conduct research in geography with a focus on remote sensing and spatial analysis to understand land use and land cover changes across different Brazilian biomes. I use time series of Landsat imagery and platforms such as Google Earth Engine to reconstruct historical patterns and identify processes of deforestation and forest degradation, particularly in the Amazon. My work integrates GIS techniques and uncertainty assessment to improve mapping accuracy and provide evidence to support conservation policies and land management.
