Expo canary? I thought you just had to use reactCanary: true in the app config

react is enough to use reactCanary. Try to not update reactnative. Only update react.

it's just for react version, not react-native.

expo doesn’t usually keep up with every intermediate react native release, typically, there’s one expo sdk update for every two minor react Native version upgrades. because of this, the latest react native version is usually only supported in Expo canary.
